STORY 1
NOLIN FEST to returned to Nolin Lake. In the 1990's Nolin
Fest became a very proud and popular event. With the help of
the late beloved Rex Hurt, NOLIN FEST included a wide variety of
events including live music, fireworks, and more. With the
passing of Rex, the festival just faded into the past.
In 2007 NOLIN FEST saw a revival with the help of many
volunteers. Chris Boggs along with many others has been
working hard behind the scenes to bring back this once proud
tradition and make it even better.
The 2008 NOLIN FEST was another success. Saturdays events
included a corn hole tournament, the "Nolin Star"
Karaoke Contest
and finally live music from the band "Wisdom Road".
STORY 2
"WISDOM ROAD" band scheduled to release debut
album "Dial Tone" in 2008. The band inlcudes lead
vocalist Jamie Johnson, Guitarist and Vocalist Patrick Willis,
Bassist John Glenn and Drummer (12 year old) Joshua Willis.
All songs on the album are written and performed by it's
